Thank you Alex, I have 2 male cats that grew up together , one is neutered and the other is not. Recently, my cat has been spraying everywhere in my house and it drives me crazy. The vet said that the other cat couldn’t be neutered because of his balls are insides and it’s risky to do the surgery. What can I do to save my house from being a smelly like hell

a cryptorchid castration (when they are retained) is more involved and so will cost more but is perfectly doable. I'd suggest asking again

I have four cats, three males and one female. My oldest cat(8 years old) has been marking all over our house for the past three years. We love him very much but this situation is unbearable. We've tried everything we could and the problem won't stop. He has diabetes but it's under control due to daily medicine intake. All the vets we went to came to the conclusion that it's a behavior problem and there's not much we can do about it(he does not get along with the three other cats) ....It's so sad and hopeless, we've given thousands of money repainting the whole house, buying new furniture and new computers. For the past day he's been outside in our garden living with a couple of stray cats we've been taking care of for a decade. We are heartbroken and devasted but this lifestyle is something that we can't afford anymore....

I’m dealing with this too, with male cat 1 1/2 yrs old. He is liter trained & have used same litter since he was a kitten. It started very random & I was able to clean using vinegar. All of a sudden he sprays in my room in various areas. Some I can’t figure out where the smell is coming from. I can get rid of it & so desperate that I want to rip carpet out. Also considering keeping him outside. My 2 kids love him so much but what else am I to do!? I can’t live like this 😫

Has anyone seen their cat spray then try to bury it? Not inside the box obviously. My cat man has been spraying non stop. He was fixed as a young kitten, is 14 now and has been on numerous meds, tried plug ins, calming treats and collars, thousands at the vet. We've taped puppy pads to the back of the couch and he'll back up to spray then pulls the pad off trying to bury it as if he was in the litter box. ??

Hello.. I have two female adults cays. They about 5 years old. I rescued a little one from the bushes at a park. We bottle fed him and all. By the time the little one came out to walk around the house he was around 1 month and 1/2. Wasn’t it enough time for the adult cats to get used to him? Now, my gray one is spraying all over the house, on every wall and furniture she sees.. please advise.

yes, physically healthy cats can spray in the house but generally only if they are stressed out and so not 100% mentally healthy. A happy, relaxed, healthy cat is highly unlikely to spray in the house.

@@OurPetsHealth my boys were spayed at 6 months. They're now 3 and never stopped spraying. And now, they fight and hurt each other. We're pretty steady around here. Not much drama. The bigger of the 2 brothers is a bully and doesn't want his smaller brother anywhere near him. They have their own floors in the house but it is impossible to confine them to their floors. Very close to giving up.

i have 4 cats. Just rescued the last one (girl). The others are males. One of the males, i yhink its him, marks everywhere since the last one arrived. Problem is they all pee outside. no litter except for the girl in her bedroom. And he marks especially in the bedroom that i gave to the last cat girl. If i close the door of the bedroom then the last cat can't get into her bedroom. If i dont close the cat who marks can go in there.... i dont know what to do. He also marks everywhere else on the walls in the house...and before i got the girl there were markings already. Less though... All neutered. Funny thing is that the cat who marks (not sure its him but almost) is not agressive. When he is close to the girl there is no agressivity whatsoever.

My outside male cat has started using the doggie door and hates my inside male cat. They fight, chase each other and one of them is urinating on beds, rugs, couches. How can I tell which one is doing the peeing? It’s in a puddle, not sprayed. I never catch whoever is doing it. Not sure if inside cat is protecting territory or outside one is trying to take it over. They were both two year old strays when I brought them home about 3 years ago. One just decided he liked the inside most of the time and one seldom came in. I can’t block doggie door because dog needs it. I have to get rid of one, but don’t know who’s guilty. Help!

Hello, my daughter moved in temporarily into my house and she had a cat and a dog. Apparently both animals eat out of one bowl which contains dog food. The cat is spraying and peeing everywhere!. I have cleaned areas where pee was obvious, with vinegar. I am not sure what else I can do to stop the cat from peeing outside the litter box. He is a 2yr old male and was neuter yesterday. I have watched some of your videos and just wanted to ask about the car eating dog food.
@OurPetsHealth
5 жыл бұрын
hopefully the tips in this video help you reduce his stress levels. Neutering will help but it does take time for the hormone levels to reduce. Cats really need to be eating cat food as the majority of their diet as their requirements (for taurine for example) are different. Eating a bit of dog food though is unlikely to cause any problems at all

Okay so he said fixing the cat can reduce the spraying but……. My roommates cat who sprays everywhere and on everything he possibly can has already been fixed!!! He’s 5 years old and was fixed a year ago. So fixing him didn’t do Jack Diddley squat! Is this cat hopeless than??? He’s such a sweet cat other than the pissing. My roommate doesn’t care at all cause he’s gross and it’s his house but this damn cat is ruining my stuff and ruining the quality of this house. All the walls are destroyed, the kitchen reeks of urine and I can hardly cook in their anymore, I’m stuck living here until I have the money to get my own place. I have to keep all windows open constantly so that I can simply breath fresh air because my roommate won’t clean it up and everytime Iv tried cleaning it the cat gets upset and resprays there again over and over again. My roommate won’t let the cat be an outdoor cat despite the fact the cat is so so much happier outside but roommate is lazy selfish af and it breaks my heart. Iv literally seen this cat piss blood and tears come out of his eyes and he meows at me to let him outside and it breaks my heart!!! I also have 2 female cats which’s are mine and he bully’s them daily, but they love him anyway. Anyways, Sooooo I’m screwed for the time being???? F******************ck!!!!!!

I wish I could take this cat away from his poor excuse of an “owner” (I take care of him) this guy doesn’t do anything to care for him. I know he needs to see a vet because he’s been pissing blood but he told my bf “if he’s sick and dies, he sick and dies”. Iv literally watched this cat piss on his owner!!! No cat would disrespect their owner by posing in them!!! and when I move out he will over feed him again and let the cat get fat and depressed because my roommate self deflects and it’s absolutely disgusting and messed up. He once told us “cats are supposed to be fat and lazy” I can’t stand living with this obese self deflecting animal abusing ass hole anymore. Pray for Cosmo and my patients!!!
