Really glad to have found the real father of stoicism and his insightful perspective on life from Zeno Of citium

This is a great material, I recently just have known that Zeno of Citium was actually the father of stoicism. It'll also be interesting to delve into the works of eastern philosophers like Miyamoto Musashi.

Wrong Zeno for the Paradoxes. That was Zeno of Elea not Zeno of Citium

1. Introduction 2. Erroneously cite a paradox by Zeno of Elea 3. Repeat introduction.

I found this AI generated video repetitive. How did Zenos journey towards founding stoicism begin again? Lol

Read Ryan Holiday’s Lives of the stoics to get a little bit more info on him. The quote was wrong and you talk to much without substance. Study the stoics more deeply and research so you have substance to talk about

Thank you for your comment! Unfortunately, none of Zeno's writings have survived. Much of our knowledge about his philosophy comes from later Stoic philosophers like Marcus Aurelius, Seneca, and Epictetus, as well as secondary sources. If you're interested in learning more, these philosophers' works are a great place to start. Diogenes Laërtius' "Lives of Eminent Philosophers" also offers some insights into Zeno's teachings. Happy studying!
