This advice is useful for any relationship breakup. The whole 'narcissist' narrative is over used anyway to shift blame and wallow in a poor me victim mindset.

Can relate to the comments made here. I’m a male who has struggled to move on after almost 2 years. Have been doing the rumination and research and it’s never ending. Seems like I’m looking for answers that I’m not finding. I’m hoping something will click. I sabotaged the relationship as a few abusive episodes and look back and wish it never ended meanwhile she is moving on with her life. It’s a painful spot to be in mostly because I’ve held onto hope which is a killer. Everyone moves on in their own time. I’ve been on a few dates and just can’t bring myself to accept that is the direction I must go to find love again. Good luck to all who encounter this video.

I have come out of a 22 year covert narcissist relationship. This is a great video for men too. Men have been dealt some really bad relationships too. For me it makes more sense now that I am in the acceptance stage 2.5 years later. What she is saying is so beneficial to actually moving through the guilt and sadness. What I have realized is I have to want it. I have to want to move out of the ruminating cycle. This is truly where thinking more about your own self healing and letting go of what was and the wish of what could have been. It is not easy and I’m making it day by day. No more videos about what she was or is. More videos about me living mentally healthy. Living in the past is not living. God Bless and God speed in your healing. Take the time you really need not a justified reality. Been there and still struggle with that a bit.

I did all of that. Excessive busyness, researching avoidant attachment, talking to everyone about her and her attachment. I did the same when I realized my sons mother was a narcissist. Once I slowed down man the feelings came like a tidal wave. I just cry and cry. It’s hard having anxious attachment and abandonment wounds

I’m a male that just closed the door forever with a fearful avoidant attached woman. I loved her. It was devastating. Her beautiful face is in my mind all the time. I feel absolutely crushed. My sons mother could be considered a covert narcissist. I’m figuring out my anxious attachment now and by walking away it starts to do that. But man that last woman is on my mind all the time. I grieve literally non stop 😢

Women are natural narcissistic. There is a reason Islam and old school catholosim has thrived.

Great video. I did therapy for 4 years it seemed it made me more stuck. I quit therapy but still ruminating. I have good and bad days. Now I have this video to help. So thank you.

As a man I still found this very helpful. There’s something to be said about truly moving forward. I believe that “living well” can literally mean that it’s not even on your mental radar to compare yourself to your ex or want to get back with them, in a respectful way. Too many people seek “living well” as a means of revenge. Thanks for the vid.

I hear other videos that say feel your feeling/acknowledge your feeling your having, but what does that mean? Cry if I'm sad?

She is a narcissist, I have been with her for 4 years. In this 4years dumped me for 2times, 1st I got cheating her, 2nd some reason she broked up with me, recently after no contact she reached me. And after a month she started ghosting. Infact she cheated me. And I broked up with her. I loved alot and forgotten my boundaries. I will be ok
