Hello friends.. Today I am going to tell you how you can store mango pulp for 1 year. You just have to follow the recipe.
Ingredients-
Pulp of 30 to 40 Alphanso Mangoes
(Use particularly Alphanso mangoes)
Ghee(Clarified butter) -3 to 4 tbs
Sugar -1/2kg
Sugar will depend upon how much quantity of mangoes you are using.
Step-1
Take fresh Alphanso mangoes and peel the skin
Step-2
Remove pulp of every mango using knife
Step-3
Grind pulp in mixer till you get smooth puree of mangoes
Step-4
Take big vessel and add 3 to 4 tbs ghee. Gas flame should be medium
Step-5
Once ghee is melted add mango puree and mix well
Step-6
Boil for 1 hour and when it becomes thick add sugar.
Step-7
Mix sugar well and let the pulp boil for 4 to 5 hours on medium flame till it becomes thick.
Step-8
After 5 hours turn off the gas flame and let the pulp cool down completely.
Step-9
Once pulp is cooled transfer it to an air tight container and store in freezer.
You can store this pup upto 1 year in deep freezer.
For making juice-
Just add 1 to 2 tbs of pulp, half tbs sugar, 2cups of milk and some ice cubes and blend well.
This is for 3 servings.
You have to boil these many hours because we are going to preserve it for 1 year.
I know it takes much time but trust me it is worth doing as mango juice made from this pulp tastes really delicious.
