Really helpful video! But, should it still work when the paint stripper gone dirty?

Awesome to hear it helped! Yeah you'll be fine reusing stripper multiple times over as long as it doesn't dry up. If the level gets low then add some stripper to it and shake it. When there's excessive paint stripping and debris then flush clean it and refill with fresh stripper. 😁👍

Nice vid. Calm and succinct. What type of steel wheel brush with Dremel?

Thank you! The best and most affordable ones are the cheapo 4-packs they sell at Walmart in the Dremel/Power Tools area. 😁👍

After you pull the car out of the soup can, is the stripper in the can a lost cause or is it good to use for multiple jobs in the future? Can I place a rubber lid on the soup can and save it to use again in the future? Also, how bad are the fumes from this stripper?
@HonestDiecast

Yup absolutely! I recommend covering it so you can reuse it and just add more as the level lowers. 👊😁👍

So when you finish stripping the paint u just clean the car off with water? I was about to but forget if it’ll rust?
@HonestDiecast
9 ай бұрын
You can and it wont rust, one reason why HotWheels are made from Aluminum Zinc. Hot water is good to rinse, followed by acetone or alcohol for surface cleaning. 😁👍

@@HonestDiecast But what about the stripper in the can? Is it safe to just pour down the drain?
@HonestDiecast

Id probably not do that. Once youve used it all up then refill it or leave it uncovered so it dries up and throw it in the trash. 👊😁👍

For the aircraft stripper, outside is a must Aiden. However you can look into CitrusStrip which apparently friendly to use indoors. 👊😁👍

Absolutely Tom! The premiums you will need to let sit a little longer but all cars should be very well stripped after an hour or two of sitting.

@@HonestDiecast thank you! This works so well. I had been using mail polish with acetone as many people had suggested in videos. Got to the point were the stuff was evaporating in a day or 2.
