This helped me a lot on how to use throw pillows. It is easy to waste money if you find that you don’t like the design. I think your channel is one of the best. I will keep coming g back.

This is just what I’m looking for. I have a grey/green loveseat which I hate, but it was new, and a gift. It’s got padded arms and back. I love the idea of three different size pillows on one side, and a textured throw on the other. My matching floor lamps give me gentle symmetry (it looks better than table lamp on one side, floor lamp on the other). I have a large Van Gogh framed painting above the sofa (I wanted some greenery, and the real plants don’t work, so I got “Trees and Undergrowth”. Thank you for your video on hanging art pieces, btw. Now I have a better handle on throw pillows. Thank you.

hi! i just found your channel and binge watched a ton! here’s a question maybe could make for an interesting watch: i often hear the advice that accent lighting like hanging lamps and chandeliers are great for the kitchen island, dining table and living room. but what is the advice for open concept apartments where one area is set up directly after the next, and if we add hanging lamps to each area the entire space is like an overdone christmas tree, but if we only do one it kinda looks barren. i love to hear you have a patreon for personalized advice and i will likely join that asap! because i have a few details i need to polish. but this question in particular i’ve seen many people struggle with it in some groups i’m in! 😂 love your content!

Hi Mariana... it's not an easy question to answer because of all the variables. I'm trying to put a video together to help explain my thought process when dealing with lighting in open concept spaces. But in the meantime, thank you for watching and supporting the channel. :)

when you say 22 and 20" pillows, do you mean the inserts are that size or the covers? Because aren't the inserts supposed to be bigger than the covers?

Birds are consistently plucked for their feathers while alive over and over again. Eventually, their feathers no longer grow back and when the bird is no longer valuable, they are killed. Once I found out the bird was tortured over and over again, I no longer bought any kind of down. It's cruelty.

@@Designchickee it is actually not a negative comment but an acknowledgement that taste is individual--something to be acknowledged and celebrated. I appreciate that your video title included "Design Tips." I enjoy watching people whose taste is different from mine because I am fascinated by differences and have never understood how Americans are too willing to follow the crowd in the latest trends.

Hi Cheryl. I’m Canadian. And I can assure you that you can do even numbers if you want a more formal look. But even asymmetry can give you a balanced look. In fact, this whole video is about creating a balanced look. And I never said those places were stale and boring. I never even mentioned any countries whatsoever! So maybe don’t make assumptions. 🤷🏻♀️
