Lobster Corgi playing bass is a totally different hand position than uke, and if your fretting hand nails aren't filed very short, you're likely to end up with a string slicing under your nail, and that huuurts. also, if your strumming/slapping/plucking hand has long nails, you can end up tearing them reeeeeeally badly very easily. It's... not fun.

I'm so bummed that KZitem removed my previous post. Didn't know external links were illegal. So, I'm reposting again about this wonderful look you created. I'm not a fan of nail glue or curing anything to my natural nail. But this look inspired me to do an acrylic nail version. I used glue stickers to adhere the fake nail and a mix of nail gel glue & resin to stick the gems on. I don't use activator either. I use 99% alcohol. Your tip to use a glitter polish base is AWESOME! This look is a great conversation starter. I got sooo many compliments & when I told them I did my own nails the ladies would ask me how. I'm not a nail tech either. Please keep doing what you're doing. Your channel is so inspirational and knowledgeable. I really appreciate it. I wanted to make sure I gave you your flowers today!

Thank you for the great video, been having my Swarovski gems popping off after a few days and almost went with glue. Gummy Jelly is perfect since my builder gel starts to move too much, pain to brush the edges of the gems too. This method makes so much sense since the UV rays pass through double coats to cure at the same time, seen this done before too. I love the AB style crystals you have on your nails vs the regular clear you applied to Nat's nails. It looks smaller in size too, do you know what Alex used on you? Looks SS8 and smaller ss6/4. Oh, I also use orthodontist wax on an orange stick instead of Katana BTW. Or any wax on a pencil tip will do for anyone not wanting to spend $30 for a fancy rhinestone pick-up stick like Katana.

This is ammmazing!! I was looking for a style like this for an event and I went to a salon and it looked so bad so I ended up re-blinging them myself and I got so many compliments. I used glue but the gel looks SO much easier! Anyway amazing job!

Gunther2023 Remington acrylic nails are same, but the removing process is very harmful for your nail, if I were u, I would rather go for gel becuase gel will remove without actually harming ur nail (other than drying it out a bit cuz u use acetone) but acrylics are rock hard so they won't come off with acetone or nail polish remover, u use a drill and it's like sand papering off the nail, and a it is impossible to not remove layers of your actual nail! Acrylics can also break, which will be very painful since they might break a lot of your nail down to the flesh, imagine having cement on your nail and it snapped, ouch..... well I hope u learned something

Gunther2023 Remington certified nail tech over here. You cannot remove gel with acetone, the only way to use gel is buy filing it off. Acrylic is remove by using acetone (or filing). Both products are good and none will damage your nails if they are apply and remove correctly.

Am I the only one who noticed that the top of the container of jelly actually reads GRUMMY JELLY?? Go to the website, and you will see.

remus grrrl Gummy, (like a gummy bear) because it is even thicker than regular gel builder, which is pretty thick to begin with.

remus grrrl it does not have an R in the name. If you look at the product page it clearly reads gummy on the right in the description. The cursive on the container is probably what it confusing you as it has lots of additional curlicues in the font.

I just looked & on the pot it really does have an R. In the description it doesn't but it defo does on the pot. I studied it to see if it was cursive (& it is cursive) but that is defo an cursive R, lol. Weird, but true.

Suzie, what I do with all my glues, is put a tiny bit of cuticle oil on the base of the glue. This way, the oil never lets it stick and it will always spin open. This has saved me so much headache and saved many glues.

That is absolutely brilliant. Her nails turned out wonderfully. I think I have bling fever. 😍 I'm not normally a "blingy" person, but woooww, both of your nails look fabulous.

Your work is always phenomenal !!! Question: if I am only applying a few small gems for detail (not the whole nail) does the whole nail need to be covered with the Gummy Jelly and Shinee?

Finally applied it! The Gummy Jelly was more runny than I expected but it was a warm day. Next time I'll pop it in the fridge. I did one nail. It applies so much faster than glue.
