Hint for freshening up after a flight, wear a panty liner on the flight, remove at first potty visit, clean up with water wipes, and refresh with spray or whatever is your freshioning choice. This is when it’s not feasible to change panties just after a flight.

Living in Australia, most international flights are long flights. I always, ALWAYS go no makeup on a flight, and pack face wash/moisturiser so that even if I can't have a shower during a layover, I can feel fresher by washing my face. I also always pack a cream/gel deodorant and a toothbrush + travel sized toothpaste. Brushing your teeth automatically helps you feel less gross.

My personal tips to add: 1. Noise cancelling earphones are a life saver. 2. Bring your hotel slippers on the flight home (they're usually so thin they fit onto my carry on bags easily) so it's easy to slip on and off when you go the bathroom and you can leave them on the plane 3. Bring your toothbrush and skincare routine so you can do it after dinner and going through your usual routine helps your brain think it's time to sleep - helps with adjusting to the time zone! 4. They usually offer tea and coffee after dinner. I usually just opt for hot water so the caffeine doesn't keep me awake. If it's after breakfast I always get the coffee 5. In your thumbnail I think you're wearing a jumpsuit? I try to avoid playsuits or jumpsuits because it's too hard to take the whole thing off when I go to the bathroom 😭 6. My hair always gets greasy so I try to bring dry shampoo but if I forget it I use the facial tissues in the bathroom to "blot" my hair roots and it improves the oiliness a little
@tuttifruttitea5306

The water used for the coffee is also used for toilets and bathroom waters, so try to stay away from coffee during flights

Excellent tips, Jessica. Having been on many a long flight from Melbourne Australia, I can vouch for your thoughts. Also, get up and move around as much as possible, pre-download Netflix seasons to watch on iPad. Audiobooks. Crosswords etc. Watched a whole season of Travellers on our trip to U.K. last year. A big tip would be to regard travelling as part of the holiday, enjoy ourselves and not wish the time away. Well done friend.

Please please please do NOT take magnesium for the first time before going on a long haul flight. If you really want to try it see how your body reacts to it first before you go. Taking this causes A LOT of people to have explosive diarrhea. I took it before and well - - I would never recommend it. I suggest taking a sleep aide instead. Loved the video the only thing I disagree on is the last tip.

Know what's secret during long haul flights? Mine is simple using my Nomad Lane Bento bag. It is just perfect because it is specious enough to fit all of my necessities like water, laptop, toiletries, clothes, gadgets etc. It has a lot of compartment that really gives me easy access to my phone or passport whenever I need it. It also has a trolley sleeve where I can just put on top of my luggage without any worries. It is also small enough to fit under my seat, so I can get my things whenever I want without standing up to reach the overhead compartment. Simply put, it's just the best!
