what a wonderful video. I've personally been looking for more female-narrative gravel content in the mix and less product placement driven productions that have little relevance for us normie riders. This hit both! I was not expecting something so thorough and informative yet sensitive at the same time. Yes, I understand it is part of a privateers job to spam the feed with nonstop posts about the new sram red groupset I will never afford or need but someone riding out into the middle of nowhere and simulating a flat is honestly way more interesting and shows a sort of determination that is genuinely more inspiring than endless drone shots of 15k bikes. One of the most special things about gravel is that pros and the rest of us ride the same courses, we hit the same points, the same wind, the same mud etc except we really don't have the time to pre-ride and run tests so this is something that can actually help people and contextualize what for many is a once in a lifetime experience. Keep it up and good luck this weekend!

@@roxic1212 I watch many female cyclist vlogs. They're all over the internet. I can provide recommendations if you like. The first few comments I saw after watching this video were about "the female narrative" or the "female point-of-view." It just gets tiresome, and there's NOTHING preventing women from sharing their stories on KZitem.

Collecting data for the drivetrain? What? Wheres the fun of discovering terrain? The art of shifting manually gone? I used to find GPS, HR strap, cafence,great additions. Not anymore. Unbound should also be undigital. Next what? AI cycling app will tell me how to cycle? I cycle to get away from digital life!!! Good luck for ruining cycling's best part: discover things by getting lost...

@PaigePowered

Pancakes are actually a great option for better performance since you want simple carbs for fast absorption. The foods you have listed are great options for off the bike, but they have a lot of fiber which make it hard to digest faster and worse for performance. Also more likely to have gut issues when trying to fuel with high fiber carbs during a 10-12+hr race.

Not too familiar with gravel.. do people not run tubeless?? Why the need for changing so many “flats?”
@justinburrell5836

Super “supple” race tires with thin sidewalls at low pressures don’t agree with med-to-large sharp flint rock. Sidewall gashes are also quite common (tpu tubes are clutch).
