Easy DIY how to: draining and refilling oil and changing oil filter on a Suzuki M13A engine. The car featured is a second generation 2006 Swift but the process applies generally. This engine was also used in the Jimny, Aerio, Liana, Chevrolet / Holden Cruze, and Subaru Justy.
You will need:
* Jack & axle stands, ramps, or some other safe way of getting under the car. Do not use the vehicle's spare wheel jack.
* Oil, semi or full synthetic 10w40 or 5w30 depending on climate (refer to user guide for Suzuki chart). Amazon links:

* Replacement filter of the correct type and size. The easiest way to find the right size is to quote the vehicle to the merchant. Amazon links:

* 17 mm hex socket with bar and/or ratchet.
* Oil filter wrench of some kind, try Amazon US: amzn.to/2YJPQK0 | UK: amzn.to/2xIOnbB
* Rags.
* Oil tray to drain old oil.
* Container in which to dispose of old oil.
* Funnel.
* Ideally: torque wrench for tightening drain plug (50 Nm).
