This is some reallyyyy good advice! HOWEVER! This advice relates to most scenarios not all scenarios. Games i stream (RNG) people want to know what im doing and why all the time. I try to talk about anything (random chit chat) but most people in my streams arent really bothered and come in to see what im doing and why. Great for me because its then easy to keep talking aha. I am full of unpopular opinions, unfortunately, they are negative ones. Games I don’t like that everyone else does. Elements to certain games that I thought we’re not done well. The bad thing is, this might elicit a response, but it’s a defensive one and people think I’m stupid and negative. So yeah maybe like you said, you can talk about the positive side. Things you like that other people don’t. Instead of not liking things that other people do
@MissVioletWolfe

Maybe I will just start talking about Nickelback because I think they get a bad rap ha ha but again, that can turn into something negative because I could get passionate about how people are fake and they say they don’t like Nickelback even if they don’t know anything about them just because they are following what everyone else tells them to do

my very unpopular opinion is that Avengers: Infinity war is one of the worst written films I've ever seen. the writing is so bad, hence why the movie is bad. I think it's the second worst movie I've ever seen, the worst being Batman vs Superman, it is just above that one. And Deadpool is number 3 on the top 3 of the worst movies I've ever seen. let me clarify. there are worse films out there (Batman & Robin anyone?), but those films know they are bad and roll with it. Masters of the universe from 1989 with Dolph Lundgren as He-man, terrible movie, but its one of those "so bad it's good" movies. it's the ulltra serious ones that suck that are really bad, like Infinity War and like Batman Vs Superman. a movie that takes itself seriously and fails at it massively. As for why I don't like deadpool. I don't like 4th wall breaking movies unless its comedy like "men in tights". So I don't like deadpool.

I have been streaming to no one for a long time now lol. but the Viewer count never really affects me because I don't expect people to be there but when I have one person that pops into my stream its go time. But without the view count I will never know and that some one is there, I know, Keep talking, but I just sometimes don't feel like talking to no one, I try to mitigate this by playing with friends on stream that way there is always talking going on. The other thing I think that is a good starter mindset to have if you are a zero viewer streamer is to act like you are making a video for youtube because that is what you are essentially doing if you are actually making a KZitem video, talking you an audience that isn't there,

I talk about the situation at that point in time. If playing a game and I'm in a difficult/challenging situation I will voice out thought process on how I'll tackle that situation and why. Once I'm done I'll give a short post review and say that was win but could've been better and proceed this by asking "what would you have done or is there a better way" - works a charm! And then proceed to make small talk, what games they play. Have had random people come in and ask to play with me.
