I’ve got one and - although it can be significantly helpful - it has a major con for curly beards: it tends to get stuck in your hair and pull some hairs off. The kind of issue you experience with the regular combs when you have a truly curly beard. It obviously works better with wavy beards as you Sir sport in this video.

I couldn’t live without my heat brush. People say it damages your beard but it doesn’t. I’ve used mine twice a day for about 6 months now on my 2yeard and it’s great. I work outside and have a dirty job. So I hot brush my beard before work. Come home and shower. Then hot brush it again for my free time. I always use a liberal amount of Argon oil before as it protects 100% from any heat and I’ve never had any issues with hair damage 👍🏻 and it all only takes 5 minutes 👍🏻

Great Video! I found hot brushes a year ago. A couple tips COMPLETLY DRY YOUR HAIR FIRST you basically need to blow dry your beard first or it will snap, steam and hiss. Oil your beard first. It will protect the hair from heat damage. Maybe this brand is different but.... These things BREAK. 3 months is the longest I had one last. Some only lasted a month. If anyone finds one that lasts, let me know.

Great video! In a previous video about styling your beard, you used the sea salt spray on wet beard then blow dryer. Finished off with styling balm. With the heated brush, do you do the same with wet hair, sea salt spray or is the beard towel dried. I’ve read that these brushes don’t do so well with wet hair and you need some kind of oil/balm to protect from heat. Let me know and thanks in advance

Glad to see this I’d purchased one of these brushes as a last resort as my beard follows my jawline down the neck then curls back on itself outwards. I used my brush this morning 10 minutes after oiling and it got more than a bit smokey

Once it's all worked in and soaked in I then use a bit of balm(it moisturizes much longer, usually lasts all day) and comb it in good then finish and style with a brush. I usually have a dry course beard and this routine has help a ton. It stays soft and smooth all day. Keep your beard moisturized and it won't steal all the moisture from your skin. Hope this helps.
