So true! I'm Canadian. We sold everything in 2017 and traveled for 5 years in an RV in Canada and the United States. We homeschooled. Everyone told us it was unacceptable. After our adventure, living in Canada was out of the question. Canada is not the country it used to be. After several months of searching, we moved to Mérida, Mexico. Today, he attends a private high school in Mexico. He speaks 3 languages (French, English, Spanish), and is very open-minded for his age. The teachers tell us so every day. Travel, discover other cultures, have adventures. All this is far more formative than the indoctrination system (oops... school system) of our beloved governments!

Private schools are a good option too. Because private schools are not funded by the government but by you. You have way more freedoms.

Do you have any links or sources where to look for an educator/tutor?

Honestly, I'm glad you made this video. It has made me think outside of the box with my son.

Earl runs in my veins! I particularly love this discussion as I'm launching a Microschool online this fall for families that want that flexible life (nomadic). P.S. Universities now are some much more open to other forms of education these days.

I was homeschooled, I believe the big fear isn't actual legitimate homeschooling but un-schooling. Where kids aren't taught and are just given experiences. I love the idea to hire a tutor from a diverse background!

The nomadic lifestyle is not for everyone! Only a very few percent of the human population is able to live a nomadic lifestyle. I believe it is less than 3%. The same metric you can apply for kids. Many kids don’t thrive while changing places constantly! Put your kids well being first.
