This video is to assist those who need help in distinguishing between the more powerful Powercrater engine of a WD45 and that of the older Allis Chalmers WD tractor. It does not provide specific technical differences between the two, as that information is readily available at other locations, such as at tractordata.com
Also keep in mind that either the WD or the WD45 can have internal parts from the other model. For example, a WD engine can be upgraded for additional power, and although not common, the WD45 could have the internals from a WD. There is also a 201 cubic inch LeRoi engine that generates about 26 HP, that lacks the cover plate - check for a serial number on the opposite side of the engine to rule that out.
