Literally the only person on KZitem who tried to break this down lol, knowing when to eat your own oranges! I don't want to waste this orange at all I was scared to pick it too early or late , but you really helped me understand where I'm at, it taste sweet but smells a little citrusy so I'm sure I'm just a little early, still gonna eat it😎 Thankyou!

I don’t know what kind of orange tree we have here in North Orange County, California. But I do know I’ve never seen an orange tree with thorns that big and so sharp. Thanks for the content I appreciate you. ❤

Good info. I'm growing a lot of young to mid age citrus in farther NorCali, about the best in terms of reliability, productivity and especially hanging on the tree for MONTHS.

Where in the Midwest are these gorgeous orange trees? When do you fertilize then and what kind of fertilizer? Congratulations! Thank you.

Do you prune your citrus trees or worry about crossing branches?

What is your USDA frost zone? I am 8A and hear Owari Satsuma can be grown here. Just have to get it grafted on Trifoliate... then protect for the first 5 years. Then you will just have to cover when temps dip below 15F after that.

Appreciate your video. I just planted our first Washington orange drawf tree. So, id i u understand you can't eat oranges anytime during the year. Even when looks orange. Eating should be at harvest. I think i saw a video saying its October to January, do u think thats accurate?

Cool! I’m already harvesting mandarines and clementines from my trees an they are spectacular. The only odd thing is they are not ready at the same time. Some of them are still greenish at some point so I’m waiting a bit longer. I’m pretty sure it’s because of sunlight and also, those trees were never properly pruned. I took full control of the garden here in Sicily thanks to Covid so I think next season all my trees will be more productive and healthy. Nice tips!

I actually love tiny oranges rather than on the syrupy sweet side. Tangy not tiny
