Thanks so much Dani! I appreciate it. And yes, misidentifying emotional patterns as intuition is often the cause of so much suffering.

what is the difference between gut feeling and emotional patterns then?

Gut feelings are instinctive, survival-driven responses that arise quickly to protect you in the moment, while emotional patterns are conditioned reactions based on past experiences and ingrained beliefs. Gut feelings help with immediate safety, whereas emotional patterns shape long-term behaviors and may require conscious effort to change.

@@Aksheeta411 Great question! Gut feelings tend to be more physical and immediate, often linked to your body's response to a situation. Emotional patterns may also trigger physical responses, but they are usually tied to recurring thoughts and feelings. If your reaction feels familiar, like something you've experienced repeatedly in similar situations, it’s likely an emotional pattern. If it's a sudden, intense feeling that seems to come out of nowhere, it’s more likely a gut feeling. Gut feelings typically pass once the situation is over. Emotional patterns, however, can linger, bringing with them ongoing thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may need to be consciously addressed to change.
