We often think of a story as something that we read, watch or consume. But the truth is that we're all living a story and the pen is in our hand. It's up to us to decide what kind of story we'll tell, through our careers, with our gifts, in our relationships and with our lives. Today we'll learn how to do just that.
In today's episode, Matt sits down with filmmaker and creative Erik Thein. A film major from Asbury University, Erik has won a student Emmy, has produced multiple films and documentaries and partnered with local artists to bring their video projects to life. From an early age though, Erik was confronted with the necessity of laying down his expectations about life and embracing the things that he truly loved to do. It took having a negative experience with a wrestling coach for him to realize that his true passion wasn't in sports but in storytelling. If you're in the middle of shifting careers or are feeling empty creatively and need a dose of perspective and affirmation, this episode is for you!
Join life coach, creative and pastor Matt Siewert as he combines personal experience, relational dialogue and practical tools to help you reimagine who you are and pioneer your purpose.
