I like knowing both methods, usually my first throw will be a triple load and once the net gets wet and dirty I will do the half split with lead-in in mouth. Great video boys

I know this video was from a year ago, but it is one of the best I've seen. I love the Dad/Son combo. I enjoy your videos a lot. I'm down in Port Charlotte. Would love to do a charter with you one day.

Great video. Thank you for sharing! How is the bait on the south shore? Do I need to run to the skyway or is it starting to show up on the flats?

That was a sensational video thanks best one ive seen yet. When you throw on the flats do you throw in grass on sand near grass. I always seen to get a ton of grass on my net thanks
@badfishtv3813
3 жыл бұрын
When bait is on the flats I always throw over the grass, I find it is harder to chum them up over the sand on a flat, I think that is because they are more open to predator fish, thank you for watching.

Great video...doesn't apply to my little 4 footer but when I upgrade I'll be practicing these methods! Question, is 3/8 the smallest mesh you use?
@badfishtv3813
2 жыл бұрын
No June, July, and August we throw a 1/4 inch because the bait is smaller and a 3/8 the rest of the year.

Thanks man, I think sometimes with a longer net it’s easier to throw because you can get more momentum out of the leads.

Which hand let’s go first and which let’s go last when throwing?
@badfishtv3813
3 жыл бұрын
The last hand you let go of Is your right hand with the thumb and forefinger holding the led, use that hand to pull the net open.
The 12ft cast net in the video is a black pearl but you can purchase a 12ft net at pretty much any tackle store I’m personally now throwing a 10ft talon cast net from Tampa bay fishing channel.
