Thank you for this video, I’m now tying my own hooks after buying ready made for ages and being frustrated with them not being tied correctly

Thank you Tom. I accidentally picked up some pre-tied leaders with quickstops and was trying to figure out how to use the damn things. You explained it beautifully.

Hi tommy, When do you use spike or band? The video has not subtitle and you comment some about that. Thanks for all teacher.

I would like to know too what's actually better for wafters or pellets, if band or spike

Wow! That video was a real eye opener. I have always left a gap of 4-5 mm. I can clearly see that the smaller gap is much, much better. The double knot, the whipping, and the final knot. You have explained this brilliantly Tom. All my hair rigs will be tied like this now.

Tom ...when doing the knotless knot, did u pass the line from the back of the hook or the front? Do you then finish it off by going bk the same way as u went in b4 tightening? Sorry, beginner ...

Pleasure meeting you at Lindholme. Very patient even when someone throws 3 methods in a tree and breaks a rod tip. Great advise as always, thank you.

Nice pointers there Tommy, I like the 9 turns down and 6 times up. I tie mine very similar but only do two turns back up. I will follow your method now. The only addition to your video that could help more is to recommend the hook length line brand
