Beadhead Blobs such as some of those on my channel are a popular pattern choice when fish are fixated on zooplankton. I have also done well in these situations using small balanced or jig leeches such as my Daphnia Leech. In these instances I am using a smaller pattern tied predominantly in a color that approximates the natural color of the zooplankton the trout are focused on.
Don't be afraid of tying this pattern in other colours, such as orange and pink.
