I don’t think this count anywhere near a 101 for beginners. And that you’re just doing the welds far away and not always showing what the result is is disappointing

Beginners are not going to be welding pipe or walking the cup on anything. Its going to be beads on plate......

not basic enough. try starting with, describing exact size of tungsten, colet, cup, pick a metal gauge and a good match, then pick amp, and all settings. this tungsten, and exact pieces, this metal, this speed, amp gas etc......

The 2G weld on 5" pipe explained and the hands on instruction showed me details about TIG welding I didn't know. Walking the cup: I get it now

with that torch angle and not dipping the filler wire you are just flopping metal into the joint ni chance if passing an xray
