What are some good drills for teaching young goalkeepers positioning, low and high diving, handling, footwork, one on one/breakaway skills and dealing with crosses and highballs?

I do an abbreviated version of this, where I can only get most of my service on concrete or asphalt. These are concrete jungle problems. I appreciate all the work of Tyler and Will, to meet the fans and afficianados at wherever they are in life with the beautiful game. True ambassadors!

This videos rock. Only ever played GK like in random matches and alittle for a team while in Active duty. I never really trained but I want to get into some leagues and be a good goalie. These videos have begun to help me know where to start. Curious if theres any like gym workouts you do or recommend with this to try and help get into better shape. Maybe working on quads for a stronger push off or arms to just have that confidence to control powerful shots at you?

hey, i need a few tips on blocking hard shots to the chest and avoiding injury. I'm 16, and broken my right forearm bone at the wrist, twice, due to hard shots at the chest. anything more on the technique side? i keep trying to use my normal "W" catch form. I've never had any professional or technique training, so anything related to this would help. thanks!

If you've broken the same bone twice, maybe I'd suggest changing positions or something. You don't have to play goalkeeper necessarily. Or maybe take a long break from goalkeeping, in case it didn't heal properly the first time which led to the second injury. Take care, the game's not more important than your safety.
