Sorry about the sound on this one - for some reason the mic decided not to work for this interview with inspiring UTMB 2019 finisher Hannah Leith at Ellis Brigham outdoor shop in London last year.

I decided to share it with you all despite the sound because Hannah's come back from injury 5 months before UTMB 2019 really is a fantastically inspirational story, and she gives some really wonderful tips and advice for how to train for the UTMB if you live in a city with a busy job. Plus Hannah shares her pacing, sleep depravation and nutrition strategies during the race too, it's a great insight for mid to back of the pack runners.
Of course it's awesome to hear from the pros about UTMB and I have a few more interviews from them coming up too, but I do think that hearing from 'normal' runners having completed these incredible races can often be even more useful because it's so much more relatable. So bear with the background noise of the Ellis Brigham shop, (sorry Hannah!) and I hope you find this interview super useful in your UTMB preparation, or indeed any other 100 mile race in the mountains.
