I just want to say the Oscars made a really ignorant mistake not nominating your score for this movie. EASILY the best that came out last year- in any film. How they neglected it baffles me to this day.

It baffles me how all this is composed in a DAW with (albeit sophisticated) sample libraries. So this is what was in the final film? There wasn't an orchestra that came in to play the music themselves?
@ExplosiveBrohoof
4 жыл бұрын
@Leo - KompetenzLegende It's not so obvious, though. There are symphonic libraries that are capable of producing incredibly realistic orchestral tracks, and there's no doubt in my mind that John Powell is skilled enough to use those libraries to their fullest capabilities.

Powell uses the DAW software Logic Pro X. He writes the music in it with sample libraries. What we are hearing now is actually the final recording, but he's showing us the MIDI data from Logic.
