if you take a blood test and it shows you're low on iron, then take a recommended dose of iron by a doctor. Low iron can cause hair thinning/loss. Also hair thinning can be a sign of thyroid issues, so check that with your doctor via blood test. :)))

I suggest something else... This is a tricologist product and explanation on what is the problem with women's hair loss. As explained in the previous text on “why men lose their hair” male pattern baldness is associated with increased activity of 5-alpha reductase which, genetically, leads to higher levels of DHT, but this has been studied mainly, if not exclusively, in males. If we think that the balding process is caused by androgens, androgenetic alopecia would be present only in areas sensitive to androgens, these receptors have been found only in the frontal areas and in the crown, in fact, in males androgenetic alopecia is present only in these areas. In women, however, this is not the case: 1) In women, alopecia usually spreads also to areas not sensitive to androgens and can therefore also involve areas not affected by male pattern baldness, in fact we do not have an evolution with a Norwood-style pattern, but a general thinning. 2) Follicular miniaturization is different, at least initially, there is no great loss of depth, it is more a question of thickness, the hair shafts become thinner but remain long. 3) Women practically never go truly bald, it is usually a question of hypotrichia (hypotrichia means hair that thins and becomes sparse). 4) 5-alpha reductase inhibitors (anti dht) appear to be practically ineffective in women, at best, they have an almost negligible effect. With this premise, we then explained that hair problems in women (hair that continually falls out, that thins or that thins) are not caused by dht, but by inadequate estrone activity at the follicular level, estrone in fact serves to grow a new healthy anagen (anagen means hair in the growth phase). It is a very common problem that affects a LARGE PART of women (estimated between 30% and 50%) who, unfortunately, do not even know they suffer from it and always try to cure themselves by using the famous "hair vitamins", which are certainly good, but have no connection with the problem. This is because unfortunately, despite being the most common problem, it has not been discovered for many years and is still not talked about much. For this reason, we have created the most complete natural products in the world to combat the most common problem in women's hair, estrone deficiency hypotrichia.

Within three washes, the hair loss in the shower reduced by 2/3rds! I mean I have thick curly afrolatina hair and the hair balls were huge. Not cute when my hair is so thin it falls flat on the top, and fluffy on the sides! I also added The Ordinary hair serum, which is supposed to be used every night like rogain, but thankfully it doesn't smell. I have only been using for a month, but already the reduction in hair loss is encouraging! I am also supplementing with high dose omega 3's, vitamin D, and protein and creatine for fitness purposes. I'll probably add the multivitamins again, just wanted to do an experiment and see if it made a difference.

My derm explained the ketoconazole 2% she prescribed me has a side effect of permanent hair growth, and unlike rogaine the effect is permanent. After using it for years, that's been my experience. You mentioned the product but not that? Was she wrong? Did the science change?

@@GinandTonic369 According to the American Thyroid Association, it screws with Thyroid blood test results. Not the actual levels in your body, but the results to see if you have an issue (including Thyroid cancer). Thyroid issues are incredibly common in women, so this is problematic. It might cause your doctor to go down other roads to diagnose you, you might end up on medications you don't need, and your actual diagnosis may be missed.

I'm latina, so Im not interested in aiding my hair to grow elsewhere hahaha But currently trying The ordinary hair serum, I feel it's drying out my hair at the root, so not sure about that. I also tried the purad'or hair thinning shampoo set, and Im using the blue shampoo like you said. At the very least my hair stopped falling out, not sure about growth yet, but I feel more at peace knowing at least I'm doing something about it!

I have low iron and the amount of hair I have has reduced to half of what I used to have. I miss it so much because I had a thick head of hair and it was shiny too 🥲
@jonatikaWwe
2 ай бұрын
Do you know the reason for your low iron levels?
@angel31356
2 ай бұрын
@@jonatikaWwe the reason was mostly because I barely ate anything, even if I did it wasn't really a balanced diet, like just two dishes (one always being rice) and maybe a seasoned omelet or something. It was so bad to the point that I'd faint sometimes when I got up too fast if I laid down for a long while (sleeping). After getting diagnosed I started incorporating spinach into my diet and ate it everyday while also blending it and drinking it. The problem was, I couldn't tolerate iron so I'd always feel nauseated, the doctors prescribed me with four kinds until we finally found one that works for me.
@ji.ol.1490

@@angel31356 rice contains thiaminase, an anti-thiamine enzyme. You might be thiamine deficient. Spinach is full of oxalates, which can also cause B-vitamin deficiency. The fainting might be related to bradycardia, which is a side-effect of thiamine deficiency. Bradycardia is a pulse below 60 in a non-athlete. If you're not taking a B-complex, you might want to consider it.
