Really enjoy what you've done with the truck, had a good chuckle watching this. I have a similar vision in mind for my 95 K2500 Suburban but don't have the resources or experience to do a SAS myself and can't find a shop in SoCal that will do any serious work like that for me. I was looking at a similar winch bumper (probably diamond plate chrome) to keep that classic style look never looked at warn, might give that a try. Any pointers on the SAS would be much appreciated.

Well glad you like it. WFO Concepts in Auburn can do a straight axle swap for you, but it will cost a lot more than doing it yourself. Warn doesn’t make these bumpers anymore they have been discontinued for a long time. My advice is if you want to do an SAS, get a piece of paper and start adding up the costs of all the parts you are going to need and where to get them. Then, don’t start work on the truck until you have all the parts in your possession. Waiting on parts is the worst thing you can do... I did mine in 10 days with one hiccup where I had to spend a day driving to WFO and back to get the correct shackle flip and leaf springs shims. The first time I did an SAS it took almost a month because of all the parts I forgot...
