Hey Now!
A lot of songs when you look up the tabs will say
tuning: Dropped D or D A D G B D (e)
or for Bass it is D A D G
What does that actually mean and why should you do it?! That means we tune our Low E string and in some cases the high e string down one whole step to a D.
There are so many cool things you can do with this tuning. I show you a few shapes you can play around with. Not specific songs, but just how to be creative with the tuning or how to proceed with tabs/videos that have that tuning in it.
If you play to a tab that is in Dropped D tuning and don’t change your strings it will sound wrong.
This video shows you how to do that tuning. #guitarlessons #musiclessons #guitar
Enjoy!
