Didn't believed at first but after reading the comments gave a try and it worked. My ipad(6th gen) which is 3 years old and was just showing the battery icon for hours and not starting. Initially thought my charger is not working or my port is bad. Tried heating for 2 minutes on first go and didn't worked then after letting it cool for few minutes had again heated it for next 2-3 minutes (no need to overheat it) and then also it wasn't booting up but after cooling of while plugged in charging it started. My battery was just at 1% even though i had left it charging overnight.....so, guessing it was deep discharged. Thanks!! Appreciate the help!!

It worked for me ipad air number 9 When I bought it, the store owner told me not to charge it until it runs out of charge, and I responded to it within a day. It ran out of charge, and I ran to charge it for two hours, and it did not charge or open from the first day I bought it. I told my mother, she told me, “We will return it,” and my heart was pounding because I was feeling depressed. A long time ago, the idea came to my mind to search on KZitem, and when I searched, I saw videos, and they turned out to be fake, and this video appeared to me. I saw it and the comments were positive. I told my mother, she said, “Try it, I tried it, and it worked.” Thank you very much. It deserves a like and a subscription. Thank you. ❤❤

Honesty, I'm Suprised that this ACTUALLY WORKS!! Once I Charged My IPad for the Whole Hour it didn't show the home screen it only shows the battery logo and the Apple logo and it Just does a Loop of it. I Tried Doing this Tip Two Times and Nothing Happens, I Tried Doing it for the third time and Nothing Happens either, I left My IPad for 1 week without charging and Today I Charged it again and It Finally Shows the Home screen and I'm So Glad that This Works! ( Third times a Charm they Say ) And Thank you so Much for Sharing this to All of Us!! 😁👍👍

Omg I can't believe it actually worked! I just turned on the ancient ipad mini 7 years old which was off for at least one year (if not more)! I watched this and laughed and said there is no way this is going to work. I had a heat gun in the room with me, so I put it on low and heated up the back and within 20 seconds the iPad turned on. I'm shocked. A repair center I took it to a few days ago told me I needed a new battery and that it would be $100. Thank you for this video, it saved me further frustration and money. Edit: 30 minutes later it black screened again but this time it didn't show a battery screen, just a solid black one. I did the heat method mentioned above again and it turned on again. I'm not sure what to do at this point, but it seems unhappy.

Thank you so much! I have a five year old ipad that I had taken to the Apple store to ask about a battery change. They ran the battery test showing it was consumed but claimed it was 'vintage' and (even though it was still supported by the latest software) therefore they couldn't get parts for it or something. Actually I got really different answers from the apple store versus apple support (that the store told me to call) - all of which were bad. They had no idea why it won't turn on if it still has 50% capacity per their own battery test and no way to recover anything. I have been calling around finding prices for battery replacements because I just wanted to rescue my photos and files off of that thing and was being quoted about $180 - about half the cost of something new. I was just about desperate enough to bite the bullet when I found this video. Literally 30 seconds of heat and it was on and showing 100% charge. Evidently it was charging but not able to turn on. I'm blaming the apple store/mall for being so cold that it apparently sent my ipad into shock lol. Even when I went to another store and was asking questions about another tablet the salesperson there was surprised that I had gotten 5 years out of an apple device. Which feels ridiculous given how much they cost. So grateful for this!

ok... I am only posting this in case you just as skeptical yet desperate as I am. I am in grad school and need my iPad all day every day. I currently have the 3rd Gen 12.9" iPad Pro from 2018. I bought it used and it worked super duper well. Last night (2/25/22) the battery wouldn't hold a charge whatsoever. Today (2/26/22) I set the iPad on my home heater and heated held it there for maybe a minute or two (it got really really hot really fast and I got scared thinking it would cause serious damage). I kept the charger inserted in it and nothing happened. I read other ppl's comments saying it took 1-15minutes for their device to power back on. So I set me on a table with it still plugged in and after about 4 minutes IT TURNED ON AND STARTED WORKING AGAIN!!! I am in still in disbelief. So yes, this will work.

Thank you so much, man. I just had to comment to show others that this really works! Though I dont completely understand how this all works, Im happy that I tried it. I was worried that heating the battery to an extent would cause it to explode or flame up. Thankfully, it didnt. These Ipads were really old. I fixed 2. I cant remember because these weee just given to us when we were kids but it has to be atleast a 2014 model or older. (All while charging) First ipad, i heated up for 2 minutes, left it for 20 minutes, came back and heated it up for 3 more minutes and it turned on! Second ipad heated it up for 3 minutes, rest 10 minutes, 3 more minutes, rest for 15 minutes, and left it for 2 hours (i figured it just took a long time to charge) When i came back, it was on! Saved 2 ipads, thanks so much! Ill use one as an ebook/pdf reader
