As a great stereo check I suggest The Door Love Me Two Times because the recording places the musicians where they stand on stage. Robbie is stage left or the right speaker channel. Ray is heard from the left channel John is center behind Jim who is central in the front. If all of this is working the speaker placement is reasonable. Moon Zappa’s Everyone is Going Mad has an overwhelming reverberating quality in the instruments that can drown the vocals if the speaker setup is off. If you can hear Moon’s voice clearly it’s a sign of good setup. For maximum bass try the title track from ediT’s Certified Air RAID Material. Even my cat gives me a “you have got to be kidding me” look when I play this music and always sets off the alarm system. Strangely I love it.

Thank you David! I am familiar with the Door's cut, but will have to check out the other two, particularly anything that can drive my cat nuts. Thanks for sharing - Andrew

Axiom Audio Andrew, to drive cats and everyone else nuts I strongly recommend Meredith Monk’s The Tale. I was told that I was sleeping on the couch if I ever played this song again!

Opus 3 Test Record 1 - I have that exact vinyl too! Brings me WAY back. Zamponas is great for tuning the proper warmth.

That's *the* cut of the album! Andrew's ashamed to admit he has 3 copies of the LP and the CD.👍👍👍
