I remember attempting to open one up once. I got the battery and film out (photos already taken) and I got a shock as I punctured the capacitor with a screw driver. Always be careful when opening cameras, the capacitor may still have a charge even w/out the battery.

Agreed, always be careful with dealing with electronics in general. That could only have happened if the flash was charged, even if you remove the battery the primed flash can still go off, and after it does it discharges the circuit. Thanks for watching and taking the time to share a comment as well! I appreciate it.

This was really helpful! We have probably 10 or 12 single-use cameras lying around, and I finally got a C41 kit to develop them all.

Hey can you do a review on/ a tutorial how to unload and reload the Fujifilm simple ace400?
@Jorge-Perez
2 жыл бұрын
Hey there, the ACE is the same as the QuickSnap 400, unfortunately that camera is not reusable, you have to fully break it in order to open it up. I recommend the Kodak Funsaver disposable camera. I made a video about it, and you can watch it right here: kzitem.info/news/bejne/mJlryZOQjINjfaA Hope that helps, thanks for watching and good luck with your reloading process! 🙏🏼✨

Does this work on the QuickSnap Waterproof camera?
@Jorge-Perez
2 жыл бұрын
The camera is the same, but I don't believe it works the same way, since that camera has a sealed housing to make it waterproof. If you can open the housing without breaking it then it might be possible. I would recommend going with the Kodak Funsaver instead. Hope that helps, thanks for watching! and good luck. 🙌🏼✨

Are there any quality film labs that can process the film a bit better than a walk greens and rite aid?

What type of photo lab
@Jorge-Perez
2 жыл бұрын
To develop your photos? Any photo lab can do that, Walmart, Costco, a local camera store, any place where they take passport or ID photos, etc. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching and for taking the time to share a comment, Cheers 🙌🏼✨

How do they cut it into strips?
@Jorge-Perez

They use manual cutters and cut the 35mm film rolls intro strips. Check "Slide Film Cutter for 35mm" on amazon, and you'll see. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment as well! I appreciate it! 🙏🏼✨

Is it safe to unload the film? will it break?
@Jorge-Perez
3 жыл бұрын
Once you've completed the film roll, then yes you can remove with no issues or fear or exposing the images to light, In terms of actually breaking the camera, as long as you're gentle you should be fine. You can always seal the roll door with electrical tape later on! Thanks for watching and for taking the time to leave a comment! And good luck! 🙌🏼✨

r.i.p environment. anyways, i don't see anyone selling films anywhere anymore, may be except few web stores with extravagant prices. and neither do i know any film lab still developing these. they seem just evaporated from existence.

You can still take film to any CVS, Walgreens, or some Walmarts and they’ll develop and scan it for you, or just do it with The Darkroom or something similar for like $20. Personally I always just get film at CVS, but you can buy a lot of different types online.
