If you could use an adjective as a noun, then is it also possible to modify them with an adjective?

Here's an example of what I mean; "My aunt got me a pair of pants with a frilly pant leg. stupid frilly pant, it makes me look ridiculous".

Hi @@NerdBryant64, You can modify an adjective as a noun with another adjective. The modifying adjective will come after THE. For example: "The POOR homeless have nowhere to sleep." The adjective POOR is modifying the noun (the) HOMELESS. In your example "pants" is the noun. (Pants is always plural so you would say "stupid frilly pants, THEY make me look ridiculous.") I hope that answers your question :)

I have a doubt like It is fun or funny , it is beauty or beautiful ? To use in a sentence

Fun is usually a noun, we HAVE fun. Fun can also be an adjective, think of it as enjoyable. “The party was fun.” If something is funny it makes you laugh. 🤣 Beauty is a noun, beautiful is an adjective. Someone or something IS beautiful.💮

I have a question. Let's say I want to talk about a certain group of individuals, not an entire population. Just five people that all share a common thing. That thing is that they are incomplete-they're all lacking something. Is it correct to refer to them as the incomplete? Or should it be the incomplete ones? Or the incompletes? I've been googling this to no avail. Cannot get a straight answer.

Thanks for your question. I think the “incomplete ones” is the most natural. For example: “We saved most of the test samples but I had to throw away the incomplete ones.” If you are referring to a group of people it might be helpful to specify what about them is incomplete. I hope that helps 😃
