Good one. Humbuckers seem to be a bit more forgiving when it comes to the volume you use. They're less 'present', though, and I find they suddenly flip up an octave more often. I love me some ebow though. Add reverb and they’re haunting.

Does this work with any type of pickup?

The ebow affects the string directly, so does not require specific pickups to work.

@@BdotRASS Thanks. I could actually see the metal string vibrating. I guess it won't work on nylon strings.

@@LBNLDC1 sadly no; it won't do much of anything to nylon strings. Also it's worth noting tha ebows have a much weaker effect on steel string acoustics; as the steel cores are wrapped with non-ferrous metals. (So there's less excitable material to interact with the magnetic field).

Many thanks for the evil demonstration and various techniques and I wished I'd never given my ebo away. It was when I was in the position where I wasn't playing guitar moved etc I would be very tempted to try stacking to delay petals and also stacking compressors Ibuprofen ingrina chorus pedal and various servers I can think of overdrive you could have the output gain on your overdrive set low, but you could crank the gain to actually create what you want to create and set the output of the overdrive low I'll check out more of your videos. Well thank you so much. Keep up my nice work. It's wonderful! Very much appreciate it really do

EBow is a great guitar gadget to have. I've got mine 6-7 years ago and it was really expensive for me (because it's not popular here in Iran and I had to order one and it made it a little more expensive than usual) but it made the best guitar playing experiences for me. The best combination of an ebow is basically a very long delay with a reverse reverb. It makes a very nice drone fill.

I have an E-Bow and I don't get why they make it so big. It's very unhandy, especially when you have smaller hands.

I play It for years, now. Thing is to mantain my wrist in the same position on the guitar, wich becomes an issue when I get 🤔… exited and start moving up and down or shaking my knee!! 🤭 🤣🤣🤣 Love It. Saludos de Ciudad de México, Maestro.

Me encanta usarlo, personalmente me gusta con el tono en cero. Además que como ya sabes Bill es quien me inició en el mundo del Ebow.

Used my eBow quite a bit and enjoyed it. Left it unused for a couple of months and now it's not working - not a battery issue, it's just stopped functioning.

I leave my volume and tone knobs alone, and just set it to the neck pickup only and move the ebow closer to and further away from the pickup to adjust volume/drive while playing. I almost never place the ebow right on the active pickup for max volume, as I seldom want that.
