Khnom means "I", and you use it when you're talking about yourself. Neak means you. Khmer people will often start a sentence with "Bong", so the sentence would be "Bong, neah couchet blah blah?....." (which means, brother/sister, do you like blah blah?"). It feels a little superfluous to my ear, but a nice reminder that we're friends. I've also found people retain Bong as a title - so for example, they will call Seyla "Bong Seyla" when they are talking about Seyla Oun is for someone younger than you, and I never use it unless I'm talking to someone much younger (like a kid) and even then it feels a little odd.

I asked this question last time you talked about the word baan and it wasn’t answered and I still don’t know the answer… I play baccarat a lot at a casino and sometimes a fourth card is drawn. But in situations where a third card comes and we know a fourth card isn’t coming and I have won already the dealer says “baan luy hawii”. Does this mean “Can have money already “ or just “Have money already “?

Hi. For Baan in this case is not for past tense or can. It means "to receive".
