How are the tires/beads holding up??
@robormiston2841
Жыл бұрын
They say to put 1 oz beads for every 13 pounds of wheel and tire. So weight the wheel and the tire and devide that buy 13 . so my tire and wheel combo is 97 lbs each. 97 ÷13= 7 so 7 oz of beads I need per tire.

1 oz to every 13 lbs. 1 oz per lb would be insane.

But it doesn't hurt to add an extra couple ounces.

Hey man totally unrelated but I just got a Comp Cam for my tbss ls2 6.0, I ended up getting one with a advertised duration 276/295 @ .50 lift and a 222/233 valve lift .54 /.53 ..lobe separation 112. I wanted to know if this is good choice for a cam? Would it make good power? Is it considered mild, moderate, aggressive? And will it have that nice CHOP CHOP lol

And how much HP do you think I would get out of it?

I think you've got the duration at tappet confused with overall duration. 276/295 would be ridiculous on a street vehicle. What's the part number on the cam?
@noodlesss3645

Part number would be 54-701 -11

Yes they worked just fine. You have to make sure that you have enough in there to correct the balance.

How do you figure out the amount of beads you’ll need for each wheel?
@RevHardGarage
2 жыл бұрын
@@hardlymotivates2593 the easiest way is to go to a ture shop and put the wheel on a balancer. However much weight it's off should be sufficient. Otherwise you can just try a certain amount and add more if necessary. It's ok to have too much, not enough will do next to nothing.

@@RevHardGarage I will second that, I started with what counteract told me on35 inch mud tires They suggested 10oz per tire, After running them it wasn’t at the sweet spot, put 4 more ozs in each tire Total 14 ozs A heck of a lot better, gona run a bit like that and see Km3s 35x12.50x15
