Alrighty now, Edyta Sitar showed the You Tube world how to piece the 8 pointed star about 12 years ago, because of her I never shied away from set in seams. Thanks Edyta for bringing this tool. Hopeful that many piecers enjoy the ease of the 8 pointed star. Suggestion; you might want to include the Alaska Pattern down below, I googled it. Thanks Tammy and Jen.

Thank you for this great tutorial as it is very much appreciated from two very talented women. I have the Alaska ruler as well as Edyta’s ‘A Season In Blue’ book which contains the Alaska quilt pattern. I plan to someday make the quilt as soon as I build up my quilting skills 😊. I’ve used the ruler to make several small table toppers and your video has broadened my knowledge as to its usage. ❤️

Hello I just watched this video and I really enjoyed because I already have the ruler and I had no chance to use it until today. But now I think I can make the table runner with the ruler soon! And I have question. Can I buy the pattern from your website? I checked but I could not find it. I would like you to let me know because this is a nice project for military family and I want to make soon.Thank you! P.S. Thank you for sharing great videos always. I enjoy to watch and I also can learn a lot of things from your videos.
