Great video.. no matter what pedal you are using, its at least 80% about what IR you are using, most standard IR´s that comes with those pedals are not very good, but just like you show in this video there is quite a lot of IR´s out there that you can buy for cheap money, Ola Englund has some really cool ones and also that Marshall one you have in this video is super great too.. I really think Line 6 would put some more time in to making at least a couple of really good IR´s for anyone that buy the POD go for example so you don't have to start with buying an IR that sound good.. thanks.

Jason I am taking the plunge and gonna take home the big boy Helix and a 112 power cab to A/B vs my actual power amp / cabinet... 3.5 update makes me pretty excited with the cabinet featured unlocked and being able to really dial in mic positions etc...there is a good change the Mesa will be booooogy'ing on out of the basement (if the sound / feel of the helix can get remotely close enough to justify the simplicity of a one board rig vs. the analog ways of the past. (edited a spelling error)

@@jasonstallworth To be honest, I haven't explored them to much at all. I'm not a well enough guitar player to make an honest assessment. ( Trying to get better watching your videos, but it hasn't happened in 50 years, I don't think it's going to happen now but fun trying). I'm more of a classic rock guitar player but love those chugging sounds in metal that you teach.

Jason thanks for the demo! I don't no with al these sounds of today. I'm a home player and own a Line 6 POD version 2.0 (the red bean) and a Line 6 Spider JAM cab. Was wondering if I should buy a POD GO. I really can not hear much difference in sounds of today's equipment and what I can produce with my older Line 6 stuff. It might be the limitation of my ears (I'm 72) but that is what I experience.

Honestly a great video dude! Thanks. I'm actually not able to simply drag a wav file of an IR into the Line6 POD GO software.. the rows saying in the Impulses window won't turn blue when I drag and hover above them with an IR wave file.. as if the software won`t recognize them. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this or whether I need to adjust any settings? Thanks in advance!
