You don't need.This is particular to iOS 13 Dark mode option. You need a custom renderer so you are able access the native api of iOS and check with UITraitCollection which UserInterfaceStyle it's used. If Android has something similar you have to check to official documentation to see if there is a way to detect that, and do a custom renderer on Android ( you will have to override other methods ).

You can do a settings page in app where you can toggle between light or dark theme.
