Great series! I have a doubt about something curious with PT4. I'm following preflop charts, and even so, my RFI from button and SB are far from the % of the tables I'm following. They should be 45% and 50% but in PT4 they appear as 40% and 37% after 110k hands. Could this be a sample issue? Any ideas about how to analyze my open raises so I can ensure that I'm really following the charts? (So I can see if I'm folding hands that should be raised).

Thanks, Sergio. 3-part filter: 1) The position in question 2) The RFI range in that position (using the Hand Values > Hole Cards Range Selection option) 3) "Opportunity to Open the Pot" This will tell you the # of times, with the hands in your range, that you had the opportunity to open (RFI). Write down the total # of hands and look take a look to see which hands you're not opening with (sort the hands by preflop action and look for the F's). Those are the hands you're folding instead of opening. Then, change the opportunity to open into "Raised First In". This will show you the hands in your range that you actually raised first in. Compare the #'s of opportunities vs actually raising first in. There could be a good reason for this like you have a 3bet bluffer still to act so you don't raise the bottom of your range. Or, maybe you're not following the range even though you're trying to.

@@SmartPokerStudyHello, thanks a lot for the detailed explanation! I already took an analysis to my RFI ranges following that filter, and it turns out that I'm correctly open raising 94% of the time from the SB, so my "true" RFI is .94*0.55 = 51.7% and not the 36.5% the stat shows. That's a lot of difference, and hence variance? Is there a feature like a heatmap of preflop hand frequencies to see if I'm being just unlucky? Thanks a lot again, your channel is an extremely valuable resource for studying poker with PT4.

@@sergiocarrasco9762 I don't know if it will give you what you want to see, but the Holdem Hand Range Visualizer (Statistics Report) is a heat map with various statistics you can apply to it. You can have the heat map show you all the hands you RFI in the SB or raised over limpers.

@@SmartPokerStudy Yeah, unfortunately, that heat map doesn't show the frequency you got dealt each hand. I'm gonna save manually the frequencies and do my own heatmap, as it seems that I'm following the charts accurately, but my RFI is 20% below what it should be.
