Always informative. What about different time signatures 6/8 or 12/8. How do the players work with these time sigs?

@@Chrisreedbeats i really like the walkthrougt tutorials on the devices and players, but dont forget the arrangement window, maybe some tip and tricks on that. and all the other cool features of reason. i think that reason is generally overlooked as a complete DAW. show them what it can do

Hi. Thanks for the video. I need help. I’m trying to use the ease of the drum sequencer player to control the Reason Drum Kits rack extension, but it seems to not map the individual drums correctly to the 8 lanes of the player. Don’t suppose you know how to remap this? I tried wiring each gate outputs on the drum sequencer to each individual input of drum kits but it added some odd phasing sounds as if it was playing a double of the sample. Any help much appreciated

Yes, basically on the drum sequencer just click the “learn” button and press the key on your keyboard that correspond to that drum sound. Kicks usually are on C-1, then a rim on C#-1, and a snare on D-1 and so on. I can make a video on this if need be!

@@Chrisreedbeats Amazing. Thank you so much. I will try this method out when I get home from work. I’ve been getting more proficient with Reaper’s piano roll but it does take longer and doesn’t have the poly rhythm functions that the sequencer has which I enjoy. Thanks again.
