Hey Tyler, great videos! How do I get the Webview component to open up inside the same page rather than opening up into a new page. I built a custom navigation and I want the Webview component to stay inside the page. Essentially like an inline frame. I know there’s a new component for inline frame in the marketplace but it doesn’t work. If you can help with the logic, that would be great! Thanks in advance

So there are a few options for the Web view component (open url, web view) You need to find the one that is the standard web view. This is a component that can be placed in a page so the website is opened within the component. You can store the url and pass it through as a page variable or app variable if you need to. If you look at my video on "how I made the app for my channel", part of the way through the video (around the 37 minute mark) I show how I did this and added a back button in the page with the web view.

@@TylerTalksChannel thanks for your feedback. It seems the Webview is like it’s own page so it ignores my navigation custom design. So I built icons surrounding the page and in the middle of the custom navigation I want to resize a Webview page to open up inside the custom navigation page so each time a user clicks the surrounding 20+ icons the page opens up exactly in the middle area so they can click on 20 different icons and the page or Webview component will open up directly in the middle popping from icon page to page. I’ll look into what you wrote too. Thanks so much! And keep up the great work! I know they rolled out an inline frame but it didn’t work. SAP in their March 2023 update on changes mentioned it. Hopefully they fix the inline frame soon

@Mysterious MM I haven't looked into the inline frame myself yet. For the web view it is full page by default, but in the video I mentioned above I show how to adjust the size. When you edit the component properties you will have the ability to adjust the size to enable room/visibility of other components on the page above or below the web view.

Hello Sir. Your tutorials are very important. Thank you so much for this videos. There is a small request. Can you do a step by step tutorial on Appgyver push notifications for android and ios? It's hard to find any tutorials on push notification in Appgyver.

Thank you! As I have not worked on push notifications yet, I thought it would be best to paste a link below to the Appgyver Docs on this. docs.appgyver.com/messaging/push-notifications

I don't know if that's possible. You may want to ask that in the Appgyver forums.

You can watch my video on "How to Upload Your App to Google Play" to see how to publish it. You can also use the build section to create an .APK file to download quickly.

@@CRYPTODUNIA. That's probably a limitation with the Appgyver you would likely need to check in with their team to see if they can improve it. I don't think it's expected to be its own browser in its entirety so likely there are limitations for for a reason.

Hi, Thanks for another great tutorial. Could you please do a tutorial using Webview component to display image taken by phone camera or photo gallery to allow zooming through pinching? Thanks

If you enter the url for an image for the web view component, the component should already have the zooming feature available when it is loaded!

@@TylerTalksChannel Thanks for your response. I have tried that but it works only on images on internet (http/https) and not images stored on local device storage.

@@leonlim1625 now I understand, thank you for clarifying. I am not sure if that would be possible, but if you can find the address to the file locally that would likely be the easiest way to do it. It would be worthwhile posting in the Appgyver forums to see if anyone else has any ideas.

@@TylerTalksChannel yes, i did post on Appgyver forum and there were suggestions uploading local image file to Firestore and retrieve it to display on Webview via https. I have tried it and it works but this approach may have some performance hits and users need to be online to use the feature. Thanks anyway and look forward to your upcoming tutorials.

@@leonlim1625 The only other thing I can think is using the image component and loading the local image there, but it wouldn't zoom.
