The Brieftons PerfectCut Food Chopper takes the hard work out of chopping vegetables and fruits. With its four stainless steel blades, you can chop and dice your way to a professionally prepared meal in no time. This versatile kitchen tool is perfect for anyone looking to save time and effort in the kitchen.
COMPONENTS
Your Brieftons PerfectCut Food Chopper comes with the following components:
- Press plate
- Outer body
- Inner body
- Tray
- Cleaning comb
- 4 stainless steel blades (1/4" blade, 3/8" blade, 6-wedge blade, 8-wedge blade) and 4 corresponding pushers, color-coded for easy matching.
HOW TO USE
Using the chopper is incredibly simple:
1. Insert the inner body onto the tray.
2. Insert the desired blade into the top of the inner body, ensuring it sits flush with "THIS SIDE UP" facing upwards.
3. Attach the corresponding pusher onto the blade insert, matching the colors.
4. Place the outer body onto the pusher.
5. Secure the press plate on top and turn it clockwise to lock it into the pusher.
Prepare your vegetable by cutting the ends flat. Place the smaller end on the blade to ensure stability. Press down with the outer body using both hands. For harder vegetables like beets or sweet potatoes, pre-slice or microwave them for easier chopping.
BLADE USAGE
Choose the appropriate blade for your needs:
- Square Blades (1/4" and 3/8"): Ideal for making vegetable dice or sticks from potatoes, cucumbers, zucchinis, carrots, onions, mushrooms, and ham.
- Wedge Blades (6-wedge and 8-wedge): Perfect for making wedges from potatoes, oranges, tomatoes, lemons, apples, kiwis, and mushrooms.
CHANGING BLADES AND PUSHERS
To change the blades and pushers:
1. Insert the desired blade into the inner body, ensuring it sits flush with "THIS SIDE UP" facing upwards.
2. Attach the corresponding pusher, matching the colors.
3. Secure the outer body and press plate as previously described.
CLEANING THE CHOPPER
For best results, clean the chopper immediately after use:
- Use the provided cleaning comb to clean between the spikes of the pushers and between the blades.
- Disassemble the parts for easier cleaning.
- Hand wash the inner and outer bodies. Do not put them in the dishwasher.
- Other parts are dishwasher safe (top rack only) up to 65°C (150°F).
- Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing to avoid rusting.
CAUTION
The blades are sharp. Always handle the plastic parts of the blade inserts when installing or removing them. This product is not suitable for children.
