Great, great, great masters course on this very seldom used tool (until now!....LOL)!!!! It is easy to limit my growth on most computer programs capability by limiting my need to learn. I have always enjoyed your style of instruction. I am amazed to see how little fringing happening with this tool!!!! I also see it as limitless if you wanted to swap out the preset background (or skies) with any other just by saving the mask and adding (place) a new photo into the project! I really am enjoying this kind of video. I am like many folks and have begun to fall into the world of AI for all my hard answers, the problem with AI is it decides for you what you going to end up with. The goal in all good photography is to create your own art form. Thank you again for all you do and for expanding my knowledge base. I really dig this!!!!! Rich

You're welcome Rich! I have been thinking about how to do this video for about a month. Trying to figure out where people are having problems. Then it hit me that is was the brushes. Once you understand that the brushes are selection brushes and not paint brushes the whole thing makes perfect sense. So once I looked at it that way the solution to the video became obvious. Thanks again for sticking with me for so many years. You discovered my channel almost exactly when I stopped using KZitem just for samples from my courses and started doing dedicated projects just for KZitem. I agree on the AI stuff, giving that a lot of thought yesterday for no particular reason. Came to the conclusion that the A part is correct but the I part is not. No real intellegence behind it, just fancy programming that grabs from a very large database. Like those fun AI photo tools, if there was real AI behind it you would not get people with 3 legs, which I see all the time. Grabbing from a bunch of sources and nice blending of the grabbed parts. Not really new artwork at all, just a cleaver way of blending a mish mash.

@@HTGGeorge hey, if you get a chance, can you put a updated video on using a displacement mask. I am still a bit foggy on this process and really have to go back to some old videos to figure it out. I like to do things like a face on a leaf or tree, face on a waving flag that sort of thing. I know your busy, just a request if you get around to looking for something. I appreciate all you do!!!! Rich
