Brother, I respect your cleaning and it's nice that you are a little bit on top of it. But guess what? Especially if you put a carpet to insulate that there is more going behind there than you would ever believe if it keeps popping back especially rapidly, it would actually grow you out if you knew it was growing behind there. Stand on top of it, but if you've seen the little spots, especially on edges, really quick growth. Especially places you forgot to touch like mushroom lines growing what are you Honestly suspect could be going on where you cannot see. Yes, vinegar works, but it is really your scrubbing. That does the trick. And also I would advise to everyone where I protection gloves mask. This is a serious thing. And I'll do a lot of them have the potential to really. Harm humans, I'm just saying. And they can go from 0 to a billion overnightrust. Me, I've seen it. They are way more advanced than we are letting on. But a good video vinegar is a good start

My apartment has mostly gray mold all over the walls and ceilings and it was due to me being away from the apartment for a few months. I had my windows closed but had a ceiling fan on but it wasn't on high. I'm located in a very humid area. Will Zinnser primer work getting rid of the mold? I have used vinegar to try to get rid of the mold... spray it on wall and ceiling and wait an hour before scrubbing it with a bristle brush. In the areas with a good amount of gray mold, I was able to remove maybe 50% of it. It would then always come back. However, the big areas with a lot of gray mold which is throughout 2 rooms... I barely removed anything at all. Would this mold killing primer be all I need to remove the mold? So I just paint over the ceilings and walls and that is it? I have a ton of mold in these 2 rooms... apartment is just these 2 rooms. I heard you first need to kill the mold first... so that would mean spray vinegar on every ceiling and wall area with gray mold... then scrub all the areas... and even though the gray mold is still clearly visible... you then wait maybe an hour before you go and paint the wall and ceiling with this? The thing is I have a lot of gray mold throughout the ceiling and wall in one room... the other room it's mostly on the walls. The wall and ceiling is cinderblock or possibly concrete I believe. Can you give advice on this?

The utilization of >40% vinegar is pivotal. This exceptionally concentrated solution possesses remarkable volatility. It's imperative to don a respirator, gloves, and protective goggles, given the potential for airborne acid. In the realm of highly volatile substances, the acid molecules disperse through the air with exceptional efficacy. This dispersion amplifies the effectiveness of the acid, ensuring that it reaches and reacts with the target, in this case, mold, efficiently and comprehensively. Dont stay in the house.

Alright, so you've met mold, right? It's like that clingy friend who just won't take a hint and keeps showing up uninvited, no matter how many times you tell it to leave. It's the Houdini of household annoyances, always disappearing and reappearing. But fret not, because we've got the ultimate mold-slaying weapon: vinegar! Not your grandma's kind, mind you, but the heavy-duty stuff. We're talking 40% concentration or higher - it's like mold's worst nightmare. This highly concentrated vinegar is like a mad scientist's concoction for mold annihilation. When you use it, it's as if you're telling mold, "You're outta here, and there's no room for negotiation!" Spray it in your basement, and then make a quick exit, because it's like an atomic blast against mold. Watch the mold colonies disappear faster than you can say, "Adios, mold!" Just remember to handle it with care, protect your eyes and lungs, and enjoy your mold-free victory with a grin that says, "Mold, you just met your match!"

How did you remove mold from the mattress, same method or did you just replace the mattress? I’ve just discover mold on a wall that I have a mattress against for the past 6 months. The source is coming from the outside portion of the same wall ( tiny guest house 600 sf) that I will also treat with your suggestion.

You would probably want to just trow that away. You'll never get the mold out of anything you can't soak and wash in like a washing machine. Maybe if you took it to a car wash or had vinegar soak the entire thing then pressure wash it, and let it sit in the sun. But you'd end up with a mattress that smelled like vinegar.. would always be there, and the possibility of the mold returning.

dont listen to these guys. they work for matress companies. spray with bleach then let it dry near a fan or infrared heater if you have access. Bleach turns into water over a few days. The smell will dissapear in a week. another tip: mold dies off at 70 degrees celcius, including mold spores.

It depends. I think 90 percent of the time it will. I used white vinegar only yesterday and it worked really well. You should at least try this or bleach. I heard bleach is better in the bathrooms. I didn't use bleach because worried it might damage the rental property wood, near the door area. If someone showed me how to use bleach, I would. Bascially not experienced enough and don't want to take risk. I'm surprised vinegar worked well. I don't think the whole stain came off (I'm lazy) but all the mold came off and that's what I aimed for. It depends on the type of mold as well but most likely, it's mold that easierly comes off. In the youtube comments, most people used vinger and bleach and it worked really well. Even though they said, vinegar kills 80 percent of molds, I believe the majority of molds, is within that 80 percent.
