Some good advice. But I think warming up your mind is just as important if not more than your body. I agree that the aiming part can mess up your session if too focussed on the scores early on.

I throw "mindlessly" for about 5 min, and then move on to my cricket numbers to close them as fast as I can. I then move on to outs starting at 95-100 and I must hit each within 6 darts. I then play 2 sets of 501 and 1 set of cricket with dart connect with the level varying on my performance. currently dartconnect is about level 5.

Good advice thanks for the great video. It always takes a while to get going and get into the swing of things. You're not gonna be firing in treble twenties straight away it takes time and patience.

I don't know if anybody's come up with this but in my warm-up I do the cricket thing I made a challenge out of it you get two sets of darts at each number and if you close it out you move on if you don't close it out then you still move on if you close one out with one throw then you can save the other throws for the ones you don't close out and the object is to get it done in 14 sets of darts. the object is to get better and do it in less throws then you did the game before.

few throws at double 20 or even above to stretch my arm , then bull and then d3, then i do bulls + bull shanghai. first 10-20 bulls and then for a few minutes bull shanghai. if i hit 25 or 50 i keep going on the bull, if i hit first dart single 16, second dart go to t16 and last dart to d16. then i want 9 darts in a row in the big 20 and big 19, then i do one dart at each double but only in these combinations, 20-10-5 / 16-8-4 / 12-6-3 / 8-4-2. i want to hit 1 out of 3 for round 1, and round 2 i want 2 out of 3. then i play my practice routines. one i play the most is guru 100 that routine u practice everything in a short time.

8-10 Minutes on Bull. Then move to the big Trebs, 20, 19, 18 but mid the first on Treb 20 I have to switch to Treb 19, miss that move to the 18. Hit a treb, stay on the treb until you miss for that turn. I do that for bout 10 minutes. After that some switching doubles. D20, D10, D5, D16, D8, D4, D8, D4, D2. for another 10 minutes. So roughly 30 minutes warm up. Then play 121 or 170 to get the brain in gear about finishing. ATM it works for me. Good darts.

Thinking positive is a great help. If you think you're going to throw rubbish, then you will. You have to be in the right frame of mind and think to yourself OK I can do this and hit them trebles! I used to get really annoyed with myself if I couldn't hit a treble but now I don't care and just go with the flow. If it happens it happens!

What's up buddy .... love the warm up basically the same for me give all 3 darts to the cricket numbers and try for higher marks each turn my question for you is in tournaments when there is time in-between matches how do you keep your rhythm going I'm definetly more of a rhythm thrower but waiting on matches then going to a different board and then waiting my turn throws my rhythm off and when I miss automatically get really nervous I just find it really hard to keep my warm up rhythm going any pointers?
@BullshotDarts
Жыл бұрын
I basically do my warm up routines between matches. So not actual practice, just throw to keep warm, sometimes I’ll sit the whole time too, all depends on my mental state and deciding in the moment what’s best
