Possibly dumb question but will Woolite be ok to use on a down sleeping bag? Both my parents say it should be fine

Can't say we've tried Woolite, but any cleaner that is specific for materials filled with down should be okay. We recommend Nikwax because it's specially designed for technical and outdoor gear.

After I washed with direct, I ran another wash with proof..... Spun 3x and then to the dryer, extra low heat! Broke up the clumps every 20 min. Entire process took me 5 hrs! What am I doing wrong?

Fun Time try putting a tennis ball or two in the dryer with it.

@@EastmansHuntingJournals I did that....used 3 balls. It came out good. Just took forever! I think a commercial size dryer, so the bag has more room to bounce around would have shortened the process.

A large commercial dryer definitely speeds up the process.

Better to use a silk liner rather than sleep in clothes and dry naturally on a washing line
