Not only was that the most informative and realistic video I've seen of its kind (no "30 second" rinsing with conspicuous heavy editing), it was also just an absolutely lovely little thing to watch! Thank you for posting :)

I had always been afraid to knit with yarns that are "hand wash only," but seeing how easy it can be like this video made me start using "premium" yarns! :)

This is easily the most accessible (and imho the best) video I have seen on washing sweaters. Thank you so much! This is just what I needed. I'm going to start washing my wool sweaters by hand this weekend (for the first time in my life) using the techniques in your video. I'm 43! Thank you so much! This is the best.

Mind blown!! The tissue paper hack is excellent as well as using the wire mesh drawer upside down as a drying apparatus. Great job and kudos.

@InspiredbyIda

Hi there. I couldn’t reply honestly to your question as I really don’t know and wouldn’t want to advise you to take any risks. I can say that I myself dry clean all my items that specify this just to be sure.

@@InspiredbyIda Thank you for taking the time to reply! I guess I'll decide when I get to that point. the coat was $10 @ dirt cheap (store name, originally $35 at target) so I hesitate to pay more than cost of coat to have it dry cleaned.

Dry Cleaning only means without water but they do use Tetrachloroethylene, also known as perchloroethylene which when used over time on ur fine fabrics will cause harm. These techniques shared in this video are better for the environment and ur clothes.
