I like to drill 4 extra 1/4 holes around the rim in a scattered pattern that way I can spin the trires dry for the most part.

I'd try plasti dip before using hotglue myself. But you always want to make sure that whatever you use it totally coats your electronics.

The castle esc's will just run 4 pole motors and thats how I'd run them. We don't have any vxl combos yet. Gotta love "Turtle Man" haha

Staring at those tire chains for 12:00 minutes makes me realize i should do that on my E-maxx, and its waterproof with Dual velineon systems so chains is all it needs

Would hot glue be a good option since you can apply it right to the place that you need it?

My stampede has a waterproof esc. But the problem I have is water in my tires. I have proline trenchers mounted on black rims. They have foam inserts, but the rims have air holes in then and that's where the water comes in. I put some silicon glue on it to plug the holes. Any other ideas?

I typically redip every other month or so. I smell for the corrosionx or look for the coating. It does need to be redipped periodically. I'd rather do this than plastidip.

Awesome video! I am expecting my new E-Revo with the mamba monster in it to arrive tomorrow. Now that has a fan, when I dip it, should I leave everything plugged in or unplug it. The non waterproofed motor was the only thing holding me back from getting the revo but I did it anyway. Glad I found this

I would unplug everythng and redip often. Keep in mind that this is a do at your own risk type of deal. Most folks use plasti dip. But I love this stuff

I THINK THAT YOU HAVE TO WATERPROOF IT AGAIN AFTER A BASH OR TWO.....BECAUSE THE HEAT OF THE ELECTONICS SLOWLY EVAPORATES THE CORROSION-X....IT WILL NOT BE WATERPROOF FOR EVER....IT NEEDS MAINTENANCE....

Just get yourself a can of flex sealed work a lot better and it permanent and you don't have to re-dip that shit when it wears off!
