Your workmanship is to be admired, as is your patience! The English word you were looking for is "beater" or "beater bar". Your English is excellent!

I hope that I will have time to weave again! This spring is very busy with my studies.... but maybe at some point I can enjoy myself with double weave again.

You know you are listening to a true Finn, when you hear the occasional jaa or joo spoken on the inhale, not the exhale. Loved listening to your voice and will have to watch the video more times, go back, etc. to learn the technique. You remind me of the year, 1979-1980 I lived in Kajaani and attended Linnan Lukio. Thank you so much.

Thank you for making this video! I'm having trouble getting a good shed using the American technique for weaving double weave pick-up. Going to try your method and hope it gives me a workable shed.

O.k. interesting and informative video; but in the end you get 2 distinct and separable fabrics?
@miljatalvikki

Hello ☀️ Fabrics are not separable, they are connected to each other there where the pattern is. Only edges are loose of each other.
