After 40 years as an LIVE event television Director I'm making the jump to story telling and your videos are aiding me in making the decision. Nice work!

Did anyone else watched this video and started visualizing “The Dark Knight” section by section? My favorite movie ever and now I can see clearly all this steps discussed here well depicted in it ... GENIOUS!

Forget your "Cinematic" b-roll & transition tutorials and watch this video. This is one of the most important videos on KZitem for filmmakers.

Since the rules of basketball are the same, does that make every game the same?

J.J. Abrams destroyed the Star Trek franchise. I mean its not a bad movie but its not Star Trek. My opinion about todays cinematography that this is the problem we see with ST. Creators are technically conpetent but have no talent. Most movies have no soul. Hollywood became a facotory rather a place for art. Anyway this video is great, thank you for sharing.

I've read and watched so many of these types of articles and videos, but I must say, this one has particularly finessed the gaps in which my writing was lacking. From save the cat to story Circle to Hero's Journey, this just answered all the questions I had as a 1st time writer. Thank you very much for this information. Things just came together with all the other info Id absorbed before hand and made more sense to me because of this video. I have no idea why, but thank you. Great video. X

This is a very clear, concise, explanation and elaboration on what I found to be the most difficult parts of 3 Act Story format to understand. What's great about is it how you have several professionals give their take on the same topic. Then you show samples and make simple, practical analogies. You really pinned it down. Thanks.

You’re very welcome. I found that everybody has a slightly different approach, especially when it comes to the artistic aspects of filmmaking. Interviewing several people provides different perspectives, and hopefully you will find one that resonates with your own personal style.
