Burnley manager Vincent Kompany paid a visit to the Supporting People In Need homeless shelter on Tuesday after opening a special area of the hostel during his Tackle4MCR Testimonial Season back in 2019.
Kompany went on to raise over £850,000 for Andy Burnham’s A Bed Every Night initiative, which was working to get as many homeless people off the streets and into accommodation as possible.
Supporting People In Need are a charitable organisation tackling the ongoing issue of homelessness and poverty with the aim of helping and supporting vulnerable and socially-excluded people living in poverty and rough-sleeping in the streets on Manchester.
The Burnley boss alongside Chairman Alan Pace, were invited back to see where the hostel and project is up to now and to take a look around the facility to see what progress has been made.
